An absolute yard dog of a defender. Big, nasty and vile individual who isn't afraid of kicking lumps out of people and upsetting people.

Hard to describe him even as a footballer! Based on all that, I completely agree that I wish we had him here. We need some tenacity at the back.

Obviously wouldn't fit Martinez's plan of defender who can play out the back, but I'm confident we'd defender better, especially at set pieces.

At the same time our defence is poorly organised. Even Shawcross at the back whilst it would improve us I can't help but think Martinez would take that tenacity out of his game.
