Just seen this on FB. Absolutely disgusting, but well on all the other players for not kicking off a mass brawl and his team for sacking him. Luckily the other player was not too badly hurt.

One of main Serbian U20 World Champ golden boys. He's really decent. Shame Everton won't get at least one of these players - they are all class. I may be biased, but when you have European U21 champ and World U20 champ squads, you know there are a lot of amazing talents in there. Hope they don't [Poor language removed] up like current national team, full of "stars" yet haven't done ANYTHING in last 8 years.

I'd take Partizan's Zivkovic right now as our backup striker.

I see what you mean though, hopefully they do well further on in their careers, for the good of the Balkans if nothing else really! Our U19 team is really good right now as well, so I hope they go and play abroad and don't stay in the joke of a league we have...

Well, after all disappoitments that first squad brought to us, it's kind of normal. Jeez, that team was strong, I have no idea how did they manage to not qualify for at least one major competition.

You would argue we could reach semis or at least quarters with team like this and players like Vidic (Inter), Djuricic (Benfica), Tosic (CSKA), Djordjevic (Lazio), Kuzmanovic (Basel), Gudelj (Ajax), Basta (Lazio) sitting on the bench, but yeah...Serbia that.

Looks like the old badge to me, and miles better than the current one.

I did like our fat badge though, so my judgment is poor on such matters.

What team started the stars on the badge thing btw ? Hate that.

City claim that the stars are purely decorative and they've got rid of FC probably since the RS now own the letters FC

I liked our fat badge, but that City one just looks bland to be honest.

To save you a google session - Juventus did it first about 60 years ago, but theirs was to symbolise ten titles I believe, not one.
