At the very least Liverpool will hit the wall this season when the lack of fitness comes into play on the pitch. Klopp may well be a decent manager but he needs a squad who can play his game, and I doubt this team can do that this year after brendans management

I think arsenal will be close, but they need to get a good manager in who's not too stubborn to go out and buy a centre half or two worth their salt. People always go on about how "bad" their injuries are, but they have players like wilshere, walcott and ramsey who are known sicknotes. It's not bad luck if you have injury prone players who are always injured.
I'd say they need a proper defensive midfielder a'la Matic 14/15. Don't think you can win the league with Cazorla and Coquelin at the heart of your midfield.

yep, but that's his stubborness shinning through. for about a decade wenger has needed a top keeper, top centre back, and a proper DM. Yet he keeps going out and buying more and more attacking midfielders. I think the money's there he's just unwilling to listen to criticism and actually fix it. He went out and got a good keeper this summer, but didn't do anything else. You can't tell me Arsenal's transfer budget is £10m!

Suarez was outstanding today. Tore Madrid apart. Bravo excellent in goal as well.

Thought Benitez was going to explode at one point. Looks like it's bye bye Rafael.

be arsed with klopp turning them into a decent side

if he's as good as people says he is, he'd be off within a year anyway. Even when he arrived there was talk of him taking over from guardiola next year.

he's an upgrade on rodgers, most teams get a boost when a new manager comes in. I think monday is the perfect opportunity for me to offer my work friend £20 they won't get top 4. He was saying it after the chelsea win and i laughed in his face, and the next week they lost at home to palace.

We've actually been here with that no mark Rodgers, the pressing and the early grip on games. He had Suarez and Sturridge before his legs turned into spaghetti but they were still worked out and nullified.

Klopp might do something one day at Liverpool if he isn't hounded out before he has time to achieve it, but it wont be with these players, and it wont be without at least two world class players.

They're miles off, and they'll face a massive struggle against the big teams continuing to cherry pick their best players...Coutinho will be off to Spain next summer, nothing surer.

City clocking off with their eye on the CL game.
Nothing to see here.

We all know what happens next: run of the mill team make themselves hard to beat and they fall on their arses again.

clocking off?! they were just an absolute mess, there was 20 min period in the second half when it was like a school boy game no possession for either team, pinball football, it was utterly bizarre!

would love to be in klopp's office tomorrow morning when he reads papers and fans saying they can challenge for the title, they'll drive him insane.

haha yeah, and what makes that even better is that klopp likes his unknown players so rather than the big names they are used to, the players will be big names on the team sheet instead.
