The fact that football matches are being cancelled is very worrying. Football is at the core of many European countries, if we are no longer safe going to the stadiums then they've already won.

It's not about winning or losing with this, it's about keeping people safe and alive. If a meaningless friendly has to be cancelled and nobody suffers then so be it.

......if the reports are true I'm sure security will be ramped up to ensure games go ahead. Supporters not turning up has to be a concern. Everybody will need to be vigilant.

It's not about winning or losing with this, it's about keeping people safe and alive. If a meaningless friendly has to be cancelled and nobody suffers then so be it.

I'm not just talking about a meaningles friendly. 760 Premier League games get played a year, attracting millions of people. I for one don't think I've ever been searched going into Goodison Park.
