Pain in the @rse. Went to see them against Bangladesh in Perth and he didnt come on until the 70th minute. This time he starts and gets a first half hatrick.Bangladesh in a world cup qualifier
It wouldn't be as frustrating as seeing it happen in an international.
Internationals are the bane of football. If they have to have them at all they should all be played post season. Qualifiers, tournaments...just cram them into 4 or 5 weeks, let the players decide whether they want their summers taken up by that and then shut the window down again with lots of time for recovery before the season starts. Give UEFA/FIFA all of June to get their business done and then leave 6 weeks for the players to recuperate.
That'll help his sales of his autobiography.
Afraid I disagree mate
Competitive International Football is the pinnacle of the game for me, even still in 2015
I concede that there's too many friendlies though
Wasn't there talk of having international friendly tournaments to give them a bit more spice? It wouldn't be as frustrating as seeing it happen in an international.

Yeah. A bit like a good insurance policy really.Sky "sports" will be all over that
love "your parricidal schemes" and "share their coffins" . Covers most eventualities I think!
Disagree mate, champions league is for me. Barring a freak (e.g. big team not qualifying) that's all the best players are.
That's all we need.Wasn't there talk of having international friendly tournaments to give them a bit more spice?
As great as club football is, nothing quite matches watching different players come together under their nations flag
Playing for your country will always be special in a way that playing for a club just wouldn't be
They need to change the rules on eligibility then. Far too many players playing for countries they have no right playing for (ie the Grandparent rule).
You're English lad so shut yer face. Not really
Speaking as someone who would qualify under said rule, I wouldn't agree with that statement
I certainly have a strong connection to my Irish roots, despite living all my life in England
I consider myself Anglo-Irish and have often thought about getting an Irish passport
My Irish Grandparents were a big part of my life until they sadly passed away. My parents also instilled a love in me for Ireland at a very young age
If you feel Irish and have the required family connection, I see no problem with you turning out for them. It's the same for any other nation
