went to watch wales v netherlands today ... i can see why they didn't qualify. This was a poor team we put out with the only real player of note being ashley williams who only played one half. It was only really robben (who of course missed most of the qualifying campaign) who did anything with a decentish performance from bas dost.

Sneijder looks massively overweight. They played 5 at the back and took it really seriously, with a full strength team, only making a couple of subs near the end to run the clock down whereas wales treated it as most friendlies are, replacing everyone including the keeper, giving fringe players time etc.

The dutch shocked me though, the first 5 mins they had 100% possession because they passed the ball from their centre and just passed it around in their defence without touching the ball in the welsh half - never seen a game start like it before! They were just so so boring, unidentifiable from any dutch team i've ever seen.
