Yeah I think it's Italy that will overtake England in the coefficients or whatever they do to decide the places.

Just don't get it, City always choke, United seem to get found out, just don't think Arsenal have the squad to go as far, and Chelsea may surprise but the way they've started the season i'd be impressed if they got out the groups.

Arsenal will do what they always do, finish second in the group when they should have finished first before getting roasted in the knock out rounds by the first decent side they face. They'll get hammered in the first leg and then make an impassioned, but ultimately fruitless, attempt in the second leg before going out by an odd goal

Really? they have massively overspent on dross really. European leagues must be pissing themselves. Lets sell either our reserves or washed up players for huge money. Or players who've had a decent season.

It's across the board. The standard of teams like Sevilla and Valencia compared to Spurs and Liverpool is incredible. Especially considering how much money the latter have spent.

It's the one where legitimately anything can happen week to week though, which is why so many people like watching it

Honestly surprised why people are surprised United lost. They've looked gash for a while and even against Liverpool they did - quality of the game was akin to two relegation type clubs.

It's by far the best league in the world. Why ? Because it's the most entertaining by an absolute mile. I couldn't give a toss how the teams stack up to others in Europe as its irrelevant to my enjoyment of the league. I imagine thats also the case for the millions around the world who consider it 'the best'.

'best' is subjective

lets break down our sides business this summer:

Arsenal - signed a keeper
Chelsea- signed a 21 yr old left back for 24m.... 2 crap CB's, A Barca reserve and Stokes keeper. All for about £60m
City - well, theirs is just laughably overpriced and not needed
United - embarrasing really. Overspent on dross.

Compare to the elite clubs in europe... its just pathetic

It's really not though. Look around Europe, there's end to end games every week that are 6 goal thrillers.
