He's improved a lot since last season. Bony is a bit better but only a very slight downgrade. Gomis-Montero is a much better side than Routledge-Bony.

The way they continually improve their forward line (and make a fortune whilst doing so) should be a lesson to every club of that level - Graham, replaced by Michu, replaced by Bony, replaced by Gomis.

This game is terrible though, Van Gaal is far more Moyes than Moyes was.

United fans just wanted a scapegoat and picked Moyes because he was an underwhelming replacement for Ferguson.

If they gave the same money to Moyes as they did Van Gaal they'd be a better side. Its like 300M and the only starters they got out of it was Memphis and Sweinsteiger (who I have doubts is better than Carrick or Fellani).

Agree, was thinking that too. They do a great job of profiting on strikers. Gomis has carried on where Bony left off. He's looked boss today
