Thus he couldn't have been sure if the player was fouled, if he dived, if he tripped himself or if he cuaght his studs in the turf.

Therefor he's right not to give a penalty because refs shouldn't give decisions they're not sure about should they? Especially ones like that.

Easy, and a much better explanation than "He's [Poor language removed] and biased and doesn't know what he's doing OMGz!".

I really enjoy them having Webb there. And it's been fun having some of the other pundits have a go at him being a Man U. supporter.

It's a good idea to have an ex ref on there to explain why officials might make the decisions they do.

Unlike when they had Mark Halsey on there and he basically agreed or disagreed without expalinign why which was kinda pointless.
