Being a Mackem you're probably thinking the week can't get any better can it.

A Schneiderlin free Saints allow a lot of shots to the opposition don't they.

spurs are buying the wrong saints player if they for Wanyama. Sadly the right one's gone up the M6.

Nice recovery from Dortmund, but the scoreline(Odd 3-4 BvB) says their defence is still as crap as it was in the Bundesliga last season.

Lost out very closely to APOEL Nicosia. Wasted too many chances at home and conceded two goals from two chances. Almost managed the comeback in Cyprus. Were a man up for 60 minutes but couldn't score the final goal.

They're a very methodical team. Took the superliga quite by surprise. They have one style of play, whether at home or away - Sit tight, control the tempo and attack mostly from through balls and set-pieces.

Didn't think Sviatchenko would do this well against a Pr.L-side, normally he bosses other danish players around. Don't think a saw him lose a duel today.
