Stop it!Burtlands kicking is awful...
Stoke have players who have faced far greater opposition in more meaningful competitions than this 3 handled thing though.
Can we just take a second to look at how strange this stage of the competition is.
It's the only two-legged stage in the entire competition. Away goals do count on aggregate but only after Extra Time in the second match. That's a bit of an unfair advantage to whoever is drawn at home for the first match isn't it? What's the bleeding point of a two-legged stage then?

Tim Howard's awful.Burtlands kicking is awful...
I don't know about that but I just find it so weird that everything is different for the semis. I don't know of any other cups that have a stage of the competition that is played entirely differently than the ones preceding and following it.I reckon it's deffo fixed, City and the RS were both kept apart in the draw, and they both got to play their first legs away from home.
Massive dive
Exactly. What's worse is that you go to extra time and both teams score and suddenly NOW the home team's goal is worth less. Doesn't make a lick of sense and definitely gives a huge advantage to one team over the other. It's different than how the Champions League works as well because Away goals don't come into consideration until that extra time in the second match. Its an advantage for them isnt it. If it goes into e/t in 2nd leg the away team has an extra 30 mins to score an away goal
Tim Howard's awful.
