For as much stick as the rs are getting...city spent £50m this summer and got Mangala, Fernando, and willy caballero. That is frankly shocking business.

Fernando is a great destructive CDM who was sold for a reasonable price. Caballero is a good 2nd choice who was pretty cheap.

Mangala is the one. Over £30m and he's basically Sakho. Awful business at this point, but time will tell.

Haven't seen much of Caballero tbh, know that Pellegrini really likes him and he doesn't seem to trust Hart but that appeared the case with Pantillimon as well and he's now fighting it out with Mannone at Sunderland.

Mangala was really good in that first game against Chelsea, feel there is talent there but it might just be a confidence issue - that og against Hull must have been really difficult for a young player at a new club to deal with.
