Suarez mate. Basically a one man team even after spending over a 100m. Rodgers inherited Suarez and credit where its due he brought the best out of him. Now he has gone we are seeing that Rodgers is not very good in the transfer market despite the money spent.

Ah, didn't realize that. But still, there were free kicks and the like. Makes me wonder how they calculate extra time. Can't remember the match, maybe it was us against Lille, but they stopped it BEFORE the time was even up. I thought it was 'a minimum of' time?

Its all up to the ref , its a flawed system which they should outsource to another official. But generally its 30 seconds per goal 30 secs per sub etc plus injury time. But the ref has full discretion

The officials are supposed to add 30 seconds per goal, 15 seconds per booking and add on as much time as is taken up by substitutions and on-field injury treatment... And the ref and/or fourth official allegedly adds on any extra that he/she feels is appropriate for unnecessary delays and time-wasting. And when Fergie was OT, as much time as he said he wanted !!
