you're not wrong there mate lol.

But, I still like how they get the ball quickly into the opposition danger area...none of this passing it back and forth behind the halfway line

liverpool are playing 3 DM's and yet massive gaps appearing between defence and midfield. seeing as they've shown no attacking threat, i'm not entirely sure how that's happening. make sit easy for madrid to attack with pace.

Not bad from Liverpool, not bad at all. But they are losing and have not tested Iker Casillas in the Madrid goal at all - while Simon Mignolet has been tested on multiple occasions...
LOL

So basically there playing terribly but Madrid can't put it to bed

I like our play but variety is everything and we sometimes hit a passing rhythm which forgets to look for the incisive pass too. Harder to do when 10 players in box of course as happens a lot these days but we need to look for the little angled ball or flick to be a bit unpredictable when teams park the bus.

lol

Ace !

The best part in this though, is this

Asked if Chelsea represented the most negative visitors to Anfield this season, the Liverpool manager replied: "I'm not going to say. This game will prepare us for Crystal Palace ".

Yet in the same interview he says this

"José is happy to work that way and play that way and he will probably shove his CV and say it works but it's not my way of working," said Rodgers. "I like to take the initiative in games and let players express themselves. We tried everything we could but our game is based on being offensively creative as opposed to stopping."

and that's why Jose has the CV he has Brendan, me arl china teapot. Thick doesn't even justify it.

agree 100% mate. Watching Real play is watching a lesson in how to play football. I accept there is a big quality gap between us and Madrid, but I would still like us to imitate their direct style

last season we had players all over the park who decided to just smash it home from 25-30 yards. don't remember much long shots this season

What does Brenda do, stick and get beat or throw on the lads and go for it.........place your bets......

He chucks a brickie on and erects a solid wall in the goalmouth...the match kicks off...

The realisation slowly dawns on him...

The wall has been built in the goal the kopites are kicking towards.
