West Ham are not finishing ahead of us good grief. How many flashes in the pan do there have to be each season before people realise the top 7 is the top 7. Every season it's always Newcastle/Villa/ Swansea/ Southampton or whoever is going to finish ahead of us. They barely ever do.

They have a defense, an excellent central defender in Song and a guy banging in goals. If they stay healthy its sometimes all you need.

always thought song was badly overrated to be honest, you needed an upgrade when he was playing for you in the first lace, fabregas is baffling though, considering how well he played with flamini that last season they had together

That's true but Song is technically a level above any of the defensive midfielders we have right now, there was a reason nobody else wanted Flamini, he would have been useless for the Hammers today and he's useless for us. Song has been training with Barca so his technical ability hasn't dropped from when he left us. I like him and want him to do well...I always like it when former players do well with one exception. Adebayor. I hope he rots in the Lane forever.

fair enough on that score, i just felt even when you had him you would have had to improve on song to get back to the very top, even if he would improve your team now, I know some people don't rate him but i would have loved to see khedira at arsenal
