He was loaned out for 2 or 3 season by Atletico before finally nailing downn a place season before last as a foil for Falcao.

Not convinced by him myself.

Dunno man. Costas goals essentially decided la liga and brought atletico to the brink of CL glory.

I remain to be convinced by Costa. He had a great season last year, but his stats before that were not that impressive.

not completely sure of him myself like but...

he got into footy pretty late, joined his first club at 16
his first season at atleti, falcao was the main man up front, think he was used in a variety of ways, the season before that he had 10 in 16 games for rayo.
its hard to not see him scoring more for chelsea than torres/eto'o/ba did than last season. only needed a half decent finisher and he shown hes that last season
should suit mourinhos style as he's a nasty bastrd and really physically bullies defenders

he'll probably get around 15-20 which isnt amazing, but i think drogba only actualy managed to get over 20 in 1 season there. mourinhos not really about the flashy strikers.

Can't decide whether I want Chelsea to win or lose tonight..

On the one hand it would be hilarious if they lost, but on the other it will get right on the kopites tits if both City & Chelsea were both above them after Week 1 despite their mighty effort against that force that is Southampton yesterday.

RS are deluded if they're worrying about those two results, same as us really. chelsea win gets me £15, so a nice clean sheet for courtois and a goal or two from him would be nice.

It does my heart so good to see Chelsea at Turf Moor. Few will understand this but it's like many people say in Indiana these days.
