Tbf quite a lot of it you can put down to trying until the last whistle and putting enough pressure on the opposition that they do stupid things. But there is always an element of luck and Spurs/Liverpool seem to get it more than other teams.

without question. they'd both be battling out with west ham in mid-table if that weren't the case no two ways about it - only thing separating them.
