I watched that in the pub (I'm drowning my estranged sorrows with my father - albeit in orange juice) and wondered how the hell the referee could actually be THAT stupid.
a day late on this, but Club Guarani got their first clean shirt of the Copa Libertadore in beating group leading Cristal last night.
They put themselves in a pretty good position. A draw next week at Sporting Cristal in Lima *should* be enough to get them through to the second round, barring Cristal battering Deportiva Tachira.

Guarani are a team in the middle of the table at best budget wise, currently on top of the table domestically and now in a decent spot to advance to the next round of the Copa. Hopefully they'll get through and I'll have another chance to catch them at Defensores del Chaco, the big national stadium.

They've gotten Slippy/Stampy G to Wembley, it's unlikely they'll get much more than that now. They've already flattered to deceive enough this year.
