You can't say because this season (one season) the gap between 1st and 2nd is 7 points, so its now in the mold as those other leagues you've pointed out. You need consistency and one season doesn't give that.
We've 7 games to go and whilst i admit its unlikely, its not over. Chelsea still to play Utd and Arsenal and anything can happen in those games. Still have to to play Leicester and Sunderland who are scrapping for points to stay in the league. Unlikely but its not over.

The reason you find it cack comes from the fact our own season has been over for months. No chance of europe, no pots, not getting relegated and so the interest elsewhere just isnt there either.I can still compare it to previous seasons and say its been cack though. Which I have done.
And to me, the league is over. Chelsea won't implode and if they win their game in hand that's 10 points in front.
But to me its just more of a drop in quality from Arsenal down. Its even down to the games I've watched. The big game have been poor with flashes of brilliance.
