Still one of the best England performances I've seen

Strolled into Rome and played them off the park. They were lucky it ended 0-0

Vieri's header aside, they could do nothing with England that night

Had it not been for a slew of injuries, England probably would have beaten them at Wembley during that campaign. I think Adams, Shearer and Seamen were all out for that one

Hoddle had England playing really well for a while there

Shame it all went to tom-tit eventually

Not bothered in the slightest. 2012 was the only time we have done it, and that was just cos we had to really.

edit. Actually, we might have sent amateur sides a few years back but not 100%

.......not exactly inspiring, presume Jones is playing in midfield. Might be hard to beat but why not use the opportunity to play a bit of flair instead of Henderson, Jones and Delph. Surely this is an opportunity to get some experience into players who will benefit in the longer term.

Couldn't agree more mate, a yard dog team that is set up to defend and then try and hit them on the counter. Was hoping Ross would get a game tonight as well.

I don't really pay much attention to italian football anymore but it's pretty mad that the only players i know there are buffon and chiellini
