The table is scary looking, QPR have a game in hand too! It's normal for teams at the bottom to start picking up points round about now. Lose tomorrow and it will look even worse!

Teams at the bottom tend not to win matches in hand.

QPR's is a TBA fixture at home to Spurs.

I wouldn't fancy them to win that.

Tell that to Norwich

That's this time last year

Sickening thing is, after 27 games Norwich had more wins than we do.

Except Sunderland didn't win their matches in hand.

(Matches in hand being re-arranged fixtures)

The two matches in hand at that stage were at Liverpool and City.

They lost the former and drew the latter.......i remember both games viviidly as the redults seemed to push the Title in the RS direction :)

They then won at Chelsea and at at Old Trafford in two crazy scheduled weekend fixtures near the end iof the season whilst Norwich were losing three and drawing one of their last four games in a horrendous run in which saw them play Liverpool, United, Chelsea and Arsenal.

That was what saved Sunderland.....not winning their matches in hand.

Lol that scares me more now, so the fact their game in hand is against Spurs means nothing as we're Norwich and QPR are gonna beat Arsenal and Man City to relegate us. Well I'm not sleeping tonight.

The bottom line is that we are involved in the relegation battle and we need to start winning matches to get out of it! We can't rely on other teams winning or not winning their matches, we need to start picking up points! The relegation run-in is unpredictable, anything can happen!

Absolutely

We can do our bit by turning Goodison into a wall of noise to help cheer the lads over the line

Good luck lads we're both playing teams in stripey vests looking for points to keep the pack behind us exactly where they are.

Here's to max points to the boys in blue and the gooners in red and white and hopefully it'll be alright on the night....and if it isn't like Homer said "here's to beer, the cause of and the solution to all of life's problems "., swiftly followed by :drunk:

That would surely help, but all too often our home atmosphere is woefully poor.
We are good away from GP, but it seems like everyone expects everyone else to make some noise.
