Swansea playing like they're trying to not get battered rather than compete.
Yea teams played like that against us last season and made us look better than we where. I wonder what Southampton are like if you press them. They certainly don't have Arsenal's quality in attack.

Bony gone and Gomis wanting out you could be right.
Would be very annoyed at Gomis if I was a Swansea fan - starts talking about leaving less than six months after arriving and is still doing it despite Bony being sold. Hasn't even been that impressive when he has played.

Seems more about money that playing time if the Telegraph is to be believed - Swansea have to pay him 8m if he leaves the club based on the terms of his contract that was meant to be spread over his 4 year contract.

Gomis appears to have the 1st touch of Lukaku. They are going to miss Bony he was the point man and goal scorer for everything they did in the attacking end.

Soton does play some sexy stuff. The ball never stops. I vaguely remember watching a side like that last year.

Very similar tactically as well with the two holdong midfielders covering the attacking fullbacks. Wonder if teams will start to stifle that as we've experienced this year.

It might just be Distin and Barry showed their age this season as well. Jags also didn't look his best coming off a world cup. Plus sides really just destroyed us on the flanks when Coleman was out early in the season.

Our lack of fit wide players hasn't helped either. Think itwas worth trying Barkley on the wing for a few games to see if he could adapt but he clearly hasn't and Naismith has never thrived there.
