carrol's a bit lucky there. obviously not a pen, but you get lucky when you stick your arm out across the man with no intention of going for the ball. should have been a yellow for ivanovic.

Ivanovic was doing an Icarus long before he was touched. Chelsea should be ahead by a lot more here, West Ham have nothing going forward at the moment.

Daryl Murphy on fire .... a new lease of life for the 31 year old under Mick McCarthy. 16 goals already this season with two today.

Delighted for the lad and for Mick McCarthy - shove it Keano !!

and that should be that. chelsea won't lose this title, surely. city are just hanging on in there atm and comendably grinding out results with all their best players missing, but a slip up or two is around the corner imo

can anyone remember a keeper as young as 21 be so so assured and confident playing regularly for champions league teams? too early to say courtois will become one of the best keepers ever?

i've yet to see a weakness in him

It's crazy to think that the 2 best keepers in the league are 2 of the youngest.

i don't think there'll be many posts on the west ham forum after today's game. not much to discuss really, just soundly beaten by a brilliant team. simple as that.

i really like amalfitano though, i don't really get it though. seems to be a rotation option for west ham and was given away by WBA as they didn't fancy him (terrible sale i must say) - think he'd easily start for a few top 8 teams.
