You know, we are all having a good laugh but based on the evidence of last night and this afternoon, United and Arsenal will follow the top two home and that brief window of opportunity to break onto the top four which opened up last season and which we hoped would be built upon this tine round is rapidly closing.

It was always going to close though - had we finished fourth, Arsenal would probably have spent even more than they did this summer in an effort to get it back.

Why didn't we buy Dusan Tadic this summer or Wilfried Bony the one before?

Bony was prob too expensive, and Tadic played in some league that couldn't stop Jozy Alitdore so he was more unknown. Siggy was one of those players like Arteta, Saha and Pinnear who for one reason or another couldn't get a match at their new side that we used to buy on the cheap and make good.
