Are Liverpool playing tonight? I've been all over 'neutral' sport media sites and I'm just not quite sure there's enough coverage of them.

I am not bothered if they win and go through.

You would hope they would be embarrassed in the first knockout round.....and I don't want the buggers in the Thursday Night Cup.

I hope the reds go through. There's a decent enough chance they'll have a decent second half to the season so I wouldn't rule them out in the Europa, which, if they were to win it, would see them into the CL for a second season. Not having regular CL football has been hurting them and their brand lately and I wish that to continue for as long as possible.They will get mauled in the knockouts anyway.

I'd much rather play Basel in the later rounds of the Europa too.

I quite like that reasoning. It would be hilarious if they didn't qualify tonight mind, but I won't be cursing the god's should they win as this is a competition that they are way out of their depth in.
