Today’s Football 25/26 Season

Some terrible shouts for the RS to bang in a hatful against Chelsea today. If a result ends up doing us a favour then silver linings, but the day I want to see St Virgil with a grin plastered over his Easter Island chops is the day I give up on football.

My late father used to say that if Liverpool were lining up with Jesus Christ and ten apostles, with the other two on the bench, he still wouldn't want them to win. When he died he had a church funeral service, and I got up on the altar to deliver the eulogy and quoted him verbatim. Not sure whether the priest approved like... :)

I will never want them to win. Ever. It's non negotiable

We’ll get about 4 points from our final three fixtures in my opinion.

We had our chances this season. We don’t take a single one of them. Other teams have taken theirs. Only ourselves to blame.
I hope the message has got across to our forward players. If KDH is in space (as he usually is) then pass it to him rather than across, or straight at, the keeper! Had chances for three more goals against City.

They are a very good side to watch hence why im banging Iraola drum.

They fear nobody and approach every game the same, to try and win.

I dont think its that simple as just iraola. The clubs set up provides him with players to play. Signings like rayan and kroupi would have been recruited with or without iraola. Its the clubs model. They will be sold for a profit.
Not saying he isnt a good manager. But Evertons recruitment has to improve just as much as manager selection.

If the board wanted us in Europe, we'd have made some moves in January. We didn't (bar a young lad on loan).

Moyes used to pull some bargains in January to give us a push for the 2nd half of the season. Pienaar, Jelavic, Donovan, Arteta, Stones.

Yeah meant to say that, also its the recruitment, but i wouldnt say Bournemouth have great players i think he makes them better by how he sets up his team and the confidence he gives them on the ball.
Also the style of play is very forward thinking, they go forward at every opportunity.

Wouldnt disagree. His attacking approach is great to watch. I do think he's the most interesting manager out there because he could be brilliant. But like thomas frank and potter. Soon as you go to a club with more scrutiny on delivering it can change.
