So - the most depleted looking Bournemouth squad in years travel to 'der champions la' tonight in the opening fixture of the new Prem season..
...anyone else just completely swerving their television tonight?
Bournemouth have lost 12 of their last 13 games against them. The one they won when Salah ‘missed’ a pen against them (still convinced he put it wide to try and send us down).
In those 13 meetings they’ve scored 4 goals, and one of them was a league cup game not even against a full strength team.
There is no easier fixture for them. Bournemouth are basically their south coast feeder club who just do what they’re told and gladly give them 6 points a season. People give Everton stick but our record is nowhere near that.
Such a well run club though apparently.
