Every corner goal should be looked at in the same way after that, this sort of thing happens most of the time on corners, but because it’s Arsenal and the PL title is on the line it’s scrutinised.
The far corner was the obvious choiceOr even a Beto-esque chip into the far corner would have been sufficient.
Intrigued for anyone claiming it’s a foul….
If that happens the other end, do you think it would be disallowed??
Better yet, if that was against Everton do you think it would be disallowed….
I will answer both for you… not a chance in hell it would.
Surely the bear hug on Tobido means it’s a pen?its even more clear from behind:

Palace play the final just three days later as well, so yeah they won’t be up for it as much as they were today.Title is done now. Couldn't ask for a better game than Burnley at home next. Then they'll play a Palace B team who play their final just 3 days later.

he wasnt, that was Todibo (who was fouling the keeper himself)
Definately a conspracy against the state owned richest club in the country, don't fear though @DanEFC92 and co will march in the streets to protest the great injustice on the honourable squeeky clean sheik mansour.
How dare they correctly give an obvious foul, first they came for the slave funded fossil fuel barons and I said nothing....
Its quite clear and incredibly obvious, personally I hate VAR and would take the odd foul like this getting missed for the improved entertainment and flow. But, if we are having VAR that is pretty much is a perfect use of it.37 replays, slow motion. About 5 mins.
I ask again. Clear and obvious?
Yes Rice is holdingOn the balance of it yeah, even if keepers are overprotected.
But my issue is its not only used for clear and obvious errors.
It was sold as for major errors. If you watch it again there's an argument for Rice conceding a penalty. Watch it 32 times on slow motion and you can give it.
Only out of frustration, though. It WAS a foul - goalkeepers are the most protected of players and Raya was being impededIf you were a West Ham fan you'd rightly be fuming with that decision
