Today’s Football 25/26 Season

….worst win % than Sam Allardyce, I actually wonder if he’ll be found out if/when he moves, certainly be a good indicator. The only time he got above 40% was in the Cyprus league and even then he was sacked after going 3 months without a win. Moyes is over 42% from a lot more games.

Sounds like he has something lined up, sensible time for him to move if he’s had a good offer;

Quite simply if he has a bad run at Bournemouth it’s overlooked on here and by most in the media. If he has a few good results he’s on match of the day as the next best thing. He’s done well to right this season after dipping in form from selling all those players in the summer. The pressure at Everton is different though and over a long term any of those win %s wouldn’t be accepted if we wanted to push for Europe.

Punch above there weight?

23/24 - Net spend £128m
24/25 - Spend £140m
25/26 - Spend £180m

….their current goal difference is -1, Managers have to defend as well as attack and they were far from entertaining when we played them at their place and won 1-0.

If you compare his record to Glasner, there’s a big difference.

Tad harsh on Iraola. Bournemouth have spent a fair bit but from a base as a championship club having been promoted. But how good is their squad really? He's built teams (of mostly very young players) and has then had his best players sold or injured for long periods. Time will tell if he'll be successful at a bigger club but some harsh judgments on him here.

A win % of 39 with Rayo is not bad at all. Certainly up there with Allardyce's Bolton record and better than Allardyce did at all his other prem clubs
