Today’s Football 25/26 Season

Soon to be Arteta?

How can Arsenal be so simultaneously good and crap?

Already I can’t see them coming back to win this game.
They just have an outstanding defence and are very well drilled, that’s what all their good points are.

Football is about results so if they get the most points they deserve to win the league but normally you can point to huge exciting moments, skills, memories of champion teams - I can’t think of anything really this season outside of the young lad scoring an open goal against us because we threw everyone up for a corner…

City on the other hand, I can think of some stunning Haaland moments, Cerki with a rabona assist to Foden - proper football

Have Arsenal arses gone?

If City beat Chelsea they'll know they can be 3 points behind Arsenal if they beat Arsenal on the 19th — with a game in hand, and if they do beat Arsenal goal difference will be within a goal or two.

City will be desperate to see Bournemouth hold on here. I personally hope for an Arsenal win as Bournemouth are too close to us.

They need to stop giving these sort of handballs as a penalty. If it isn’t a deliberate handball (ie the player moves his hand toward the ball, or deliberately extends his arm outs to block the ball) then don’t give it.

Or at least make it an indirect free kick inside the box (something that you don’t see anymore)

There is absolutely no consistency when it comes to the handball rule inside the box.

It's infuriating.

They also need take into consideration of where the ball was heading (Out of play) so it wasn't going to a danger zone.

Same goes for when a striker knocks it around the keeper and wellies it out of play but gets touched, for me its not a pen, if the keeper doesn't touch them it would be a goal kick
