trap door to get historically significant sides through?
Which bit?That's a bold statement...
The idea is to give the small countries a chance to qualify. Sweden were not quite the small country they had in mind...Makes no sense to my little brain. Does that mean you can ignore world cup qualifiers and just aim for winning nation league group? Not sure how/why that's related
Got to say, they played some more entertaining like football.Japan are my "dark horses" for the World Cup. I see no reason why they can't reach the last eight...at least.
They've been building for years - were two up on Belgium in the last 16 in 2018 and beat Germany and Spain last time round. They are more than a sneaky fancy as far as I am concerned.Got to say, they played some more entertaining like football.
Was surprised when they said they were ranked 19th. I thought they were much lower than that, although that possibly was a couple years back. They've been building for years - were two up on Belgium in the last 16 in 2018 and beat Germany and Spain last time round. I make them top 10 for sure. I think they'll show it in the summer. Was surprised when they said they were ranked 19th. I thought they were much lower than that, although that possibly was a couple years back.
Scotland have played in a tournament more recent. All that crowing from the Italians after Euro 2021, and they can’t even qualify for a third straight World Cup. By the time the 2030 tournament comes around it’ll be 16 years since they will have played in one
