In the play-offs for a reason. I am watching Czech Rep - Ireland and, frankly, I'll be very disappointed if we don't hold on because the Czechs are as ordinary a side as I can remember in these play-offs over the years. Not to mention we'll have blown a two-goal start...

If you have a good forward then you can win a lot of games at international level. Lots of very average teams but one top player can elevate you a long way.

It was to get the atmosphere, playing in the San Siro or similar was seen as 'creating too much pressure on the players' so they went with a smaller stadium.
