Someone clever owns a slice of the land on one side, and they're ransoming the club (brave!) over it, which is why they're pretending they're gonna build a man utd big top monstrosity about half a mile away. Strange place newcastle, the very definition of a one horse town (pun time!?) yet they get droves of the overweight turning up for pie n lager and often sell out. A penny for the thoughts of those two hucksters shepherd and the other fool that used to own em.
