Funny you say that, was just speaking with an Everton fan, who has a ST, just now and she was saying how it’s a bit of a myth among your fanbase that yous didn’t turn during that time. That plenty did leave/ boo the team etc. obviously at the end you rallied massively for them in the crucial games though.

I genuinely say that with no agenda, just think it’s interesting. As I didn’t really watch PL football during that time, with how [Poor language removed] we were, I don’t have an opinion.

All I can say is that sometimes fanbases just give up and apathy strikes. When it’s just too much.

I’ve definitely had that in our relegations. Stood in Concorses drinking beer rather than go out for the second half etc. or find even going to the game a chore.

It’s dangerous though, as you’re not giving the team a lift - and it all spirals out of control.
