Today’s Football 25/26 Season

8 goals in 23 isnt the best is it
8 goals 6 assists (as we're going league only) isn't bad at all, considering they're all playing for Mbappe to score currently, in the grownup kindergarten setup they have going.

He is a very good to great (on his day) winger/forward overall, but the problem is he's not a team player who will run for his team/track back/help in any way, he'll throw a hissy fit if the ball isn't given to him every attack, regardless if the team scores or anything. He's basically a manchild as far as character/personality goes too, which doesn't help.

He does get dogs abuse so often, which is true and a real letdown, but that doesn't take away from the above.

Really, really poor that from Mourinho last night. He'll backtrack today once he wakes up to the reaction but the damage is done.

Why is anyone shocked? Only the other day the Man Utd owner brazenly outed himself as a feckless racist and certain sections of the media and society defended him. No wonder footballers dont take the issue seriously.

I've absolutely no doubt that Vini Jr has been a victim of racist abuse in the past, as has been proven...

...that being said, its seemigly become every other game now that he's claimed that he's been racially abused - by both fans AND players - and in Europe in particular. Why does it always seem to be him in particular?

I mean great that he's bringing so much attention to it.. so this should be extremely concerning to UEFA at this point no?

BBC have listed the incidents here. Games against Athletico, Valencia, Osasuna, Vallecano, Valladolid and Benfica last night. 6 matches over 3 and a half years is not every other game.

It's targeted racial abuse and probably because he reacts to it rather than just get on with it like so many black players felt like they had to.

Fans have had suspended and custodial sentences for some of these too so they must have been pretty severe cases.

Because he's a guaranteed reaction. So eventually the media and the scum that over look racism will eventually blame him as the disruptive influence that ruins every game he's part of.
So start playing games with no crowds. Then secretly mic him up. Then when players get a bit keen and they mouth off, put them in prison for 6 months and ban them for 18 months.
Hitting the pocket will make the issue real to those that currently aren't arsed.
