Tough in our position to say this, but City have a real talent issue. These guys aren’t capable of playing the way Pep wants, and Pep won’t change. A lot of middling players.

They've had it drilled into them for decades. Even when they were crap and finishing 5-8th they were still winning European titles and domestic cups every few years.

They also don't sign awful players for massively inflated fees. Salah £34m, Beto £28m. Konate £36m, Keane £30m. Mac Allister £35m, Doucoure £25m. Luis Diaz £37m, Cenk Tosun £27m. Andy Robertson £7m, Vitalii Mykolenko £15m.

I am resigned to them winning the league, I dont watch them it's easier that way.
We need to forget about them and concentrate on staying up we must avoid the doomsday scenario.

12 years ago; we faced them in a semi final at Wembley and we were the favourites as they were in a mess.

12 years on, and we've had 2 points deductions, 8 managers, multiple relegation scraps had to sell all our best players.

Meanwhile, they've won a CL, made a further 2 finals, a Europa Final, won the league and every other trophy imaginable.

They've rebuilt amazingly, and looked at how to do it properly, whilst we've been off to the circus.

Just got to hope the Friedkins have even a semblance of a vision FSG had and maybe, just maybe we'll be okay.
