All 3 were very good. Italy were unrecognisable from the team that couldn't qualify for the euros.Italian equaliser some goal

Netherlands: Steven Bergwijn does not want to play under Ronald Koeman after criticism from Dutch coach
Steven Bergwijn says he does not want to play for the Netherlands under Ronald Koeman after being criticised by the national team coach.www.bbc.co.uk
He's basically being a lil bitch to the media about his own players behind their backs, don't think there's anything to like here personally. To be fair, I like him with this.

"He's out of the team" etc is a conversation to have with Bergwijn, not just spawn on him via the media - he's probably got a way to contact players you'd think - that's the bitch move.I mean he’s not is he. Reporters asked him on his thoughts of Bergwijn going to Saudi and he called it for what it is: money > love of playing the game.
Not like good* old ron has never done anything for a few extra quid is it.I mean he’s not is he. Reporters asked him on his thoughts of Bergwijn going to Saudi and he called it for what it is: money > love of playing the game.

You don't need to love the game to play it also, no idea why that's even anyone's business.
English journos wanting to sack Carsley for not singing GSTK is one of the funniest thing I've ever seen![]()
And it's a bit of racist too tbh.
He should've probably communicated this with the player and not with any media though, no?He clearly feels Saudi football isn't the standard to properly prepare for national football. I respect that. They're Dutch: ask them a question, get an answer.

You can respect that all you want, even though it seems Laporte's legs didn't fall off and in fact Spain won with him being the CB and defacto leader of the team. Clearly way worse preparation than playing in the Mickey Mouse Dutch league.
"It's a private matter/it's my decision", not "he's basically dead to me mate"?So when he dropped Bergwijn and the Dutch media ask him why, what's he supposed to say?

Disgraceful from the media, why would a man who’s represented the Republic of Ireland multiple times sing the English national anthem ffs. How arrogant to expect that he should?!Honestly hope him, Grealish and Rice do the f****** Riverdance through the anthem.
The levels some people will go to to feel insulted never ceases to amaze
He's also made a point of never singing the Irish anthem either when representing.Disgraceful from the media, why would a man who’s represented the Republic of Ireland multiple times sing the English national anthem ffs. How arrogant to expect that he should?!
Hope cars tell them to shove the job up their jacksies and comes home to the blues.
“This is something that I always struggled with when I was playing for Ireland,” Carsley said. “The gap between your warm-up, your coming on to the pitch and the delay with the anthems. So it’s something that I have never done. I was always really focused on the game and my first actions of the game. I really found that in that period I was wary about my mind wandering off. I was really focused on the football and I have taken that in to coaching. We had the national anthem with the under-21s also and I am in a zone at that point. I am thinking about how the opposition are gonna set up and our first actions within the game. I fully respect both anthems and understand how much they mean to both countries. It’s something I am really respectful of.”
