To add to Rodgers, Lage, Hasenhuttl, Bielsa, Wilder and a whole host of other flavour of the month managers that had ‘systems’ and ‘philosophies’ and we definitely should have gone for them.

Managing outside the top 6 is unsustainable. A few injuries or one bad recruitment window and you can be in a relegation battle.

Two of the best run clubs outside the top 6 a few seasons ago. Just shows that even if you’re finishing in the top 7 you’re probably more likely to go down in the short term than crack the top 4.

Couldn't take my eyes off him the whole second half. Mesmerising, but not in a good way. If anything, his defending for the second goal was even worse.
