Listening to talk sport this morning (no idea why I had it on, think was trying to find match updates yesterday).

Talking about whether English fans should be backing Man City and (not sure who) said that no, we shouldn’t expect Liverpool or Man U fans to want them to win because there is nothing English about Man City, aside from 2 players yet implying there is about Liverpool and united.

I get it, but there’s nothing English about Liverpool or man united either in that case as Liverpool only had 2 English players start on Sat with 3 on the bench and man united had 3 start with 4 on the bench.

Looking forward to the city game tonight, arguably the 2 best teams in world football at the moment with some tremendous talent on show from both sides, it wil inevitably end up a bore fest but on paper this has the makings of a fantastic match. The second leg next week could be the one to watch though if tonight’s game remains a cagey affair as the onus will be on city then to come out and attack. Love watching good games.
