Hope City don't win the champions league as it means we are the only one of the big northwest four that haven't won the European Cup or the league cup. Wouldn't have believed that back in the 80s when it was certain we would win both.

I would say he paid £100m for a player with attacking flair that was a big fish in a small pond that ran at opposition players and got fouled a lot and fell over but scored a few goals.

Now he has a player who is fully aware of his role and responsibilities within the team set up, had adapted to that, and as a result has become a much more rounded and effective player.
