There’s no reason we shouldn’t score at least against Palace. It makes sense how we managed to put 3 past them earlier in the season.
A lot to do with Vieira’s style of play. We were defensively pretty sound, only getting tonked once (the afternoon isn’t over) this season. He also tinkered and tinkered and tinkered again with the front players and partly as a result of that, confidence is shot to sh*t.@Alan Whittle Havent watched much of Palacd this season but how are they struggling attacking wise with Zaha, Eze and Olise? Have they had injuries? Creating chances but not finishing them?
Nah, this is a free hit, same no matter who the manager is. Two weeks to reset before Leicester at home. That is the key period.Would have made more sense to keep Viera until after this game. Any possible bounce for Palace is deflated straight away. They’re in very big trouble.

Need to avoid a real hiding here if possible for a number of reasons; goal difference, confidence ( what’s left of it) and rushing the wrong manager in.
Happy days!
Depends who you get in I guess. Really hard to get any decent managers wanting to take on a relegation fight at this stage in the season. I really wouldn’t be shocked with Hodgson.Nah, this is a free hit, same no matter who the manager is. Two weeks to reset before Leicester at home. That is the key period.
I think if Hodgson came he might mentor Paddy McCarthy.Depends who you get in I guess. Really hard to get any decent managers wanting to take on a relegation fight at this stage in the season. I really wouldn’t be shocked with Hodgson.
Your described scenario has been lived by Everton a time of two in recent history. Its not a fun place to be.No idea what you’re on about mate.
