Absolutely, if they pick up kane / Osimhen if they get CL and a midfielder, they'll be up there.

well managed too - saying to young players "here is your chance, play well and you stay there" is such simple management, it often works (as here with Saka, Smith-Rowe and Nketiah) yet all our non-Carlo managers haven't managed to do it and keep playing crap crabs instead

What Arteta has done is not simple management.

I disagree - I think its very simple management. This isn't a case of someone developing novel tactics (like Pep) or improved coaching (like Wenger), its someone who got the latitude from the ownership to have that squad picked on merit rather than the amount paid for someone.

FWIW I think United's improvement under ten Haag is down to much the same thing
