Decent draw. Tougher game for Liverpool although they won’t have to do much to get past it. Annoying that one of Benfica and Ajax will be in the quarters whilst one of Madrid PSG go out.

City
Ajax
Chelsea
United
Juventus
Liverpool
PSG

Is how I would see the last 8 there.

Guardian taking the mick..

The draw in full

Salzburg v Bayern Munich
Sporting v Man City
Benfica v Ajax
Chelsea v Lille
Atlético v Man United
Villarreal v Man United
Inter v Liverpool
PSG v Real Madrid

Ajax were always going through, brilliant side.

I reckon Uefa will want to avoid another dire low viewing disintresting final of last season's El Plastico, so City will face Chelsea in the next round no doubt.

United are out as they are awful, will be funny seeing Maguire against Griezmann Suarez and Felix, Atletico will dispatch them easily.

Rangnick will have United in good nick by then, Pogba probably back as well. Atletico don’t score enough to hurt teams and their defence isn’t what it was.

I doubt Liverpool will be bothered about Inter. They would beat anyone they could have got anyway.

PSG were the only team that would worry them. Inter will treat Anfield like a tourist visit if they’re not already a load down from the first leg. The only saving grace is that Salzburg was legitimately play the kids territory for Liverpool but Inter might demand a run out for the full 11. Not that any of their key players ever get injured anyway.

I don’t think PSG would bother them over 2 legs, their defence and midfield isn’t good enough to stop the RS scoring.

Only teams I can see beating them are Bayern, City and maybe Chelsea.
