Apparently this ref is trying to libel everyone that mentions it

If Dortmund get Bellingham a good lawyer they should be able to get him out of this without too much hassle, but I'm betting the DFB will punish him hard for it

You can't suggest a ref was bent in a post-match interview, whether he may have been or not. If they felt something untoward was going on then there are proper channels to go down

To be fair he didn’t accuse him necessarily of being bent in that game though, it’s implied but he doesn’t say that. What he did say is a pure on the record fact so he can’t really get done for it. The Dortmund hierarchy have already come out in full support for Jude.

That will help him in any legal action but when it comes to the DFB even the implication should be enough for a fine and ban and I can't see Dortmund contesting that really. They might of course, but I don't see it outside of pleading the sanctions down a bit because of his young age

Possibly but considering the DFB covered up this refs ban originally I would expect a huge backlash if they ban Jude.

There rarely is any backlash when footballing authorities dish out bans for stuff like this so I don't see it personally

Dortmund and their fans will be furious of course, but I can't see the wider German football scene caring enough for it to be too much bother for the DFB

We'll see though, maybe I'm wrong and other clubs fans will be just as outraged and it will actually become a problem for the DFB as a result
