Today’s Football 2021/22 Season

Football is just boring. Every team in the football pyramid apart from 5 or 6 know they will never win a league title or CL in their lifetime. Any 2 or 3 of those 6 know that they can win a PL or CL almost any season they want.

People will switch off eventually, it’s just boring.
It's being moulded around a TV watching fan base.
Give them what they want to see and they will continue to pay their money to watch

They’re expanding to new markets because the original ones are drying up. That’s why there’s the push for the 39th game abroad and moving the tournaments all over the place. They’re desperate to hook new fans in because the average match going fan in the UK is eventually going to just stop going once they realise they have zero chance of winning anything ever.

Not being funny here but why don't you switch off from it? Literally and mentally? ? If something gets to me so much I stay away from it. For example, anything with that beaut Michael McIntyre in and also my ex missus ?

West Ham fans seem fine with it all, also Leicester fans after last season. Brighton fans plus a few others who are happy with their lot. Football can be enjoyed even if you think your team have little chance of a trophy. Or am I wrong there?

They’ve just not had the truth pill yet. West Ham are rising high from not being rleekgated and have made a step up. They are where we were in 07/08. When they realise that they never will break beyond that glass ceiling the apathy will set in. Doesn’t matter how much they spend or who they have in charge, they’re not going to ever be a regular top 4 team. Same with Leicester who are already getting annoyed with Rodgers because he can’t break through. Brighton fans were booing Potter and this is only a few seasons after they came up. What normally happens is most teams go down eventually so they have the roller coaster of coming back up to keep them happy, but eventually fans of any team that can stay in the top league will eventually grow completely disinterested when they realise that they can’t win anything. I love Everton but hate premier league football.
