Didn't effect him until now, he's been pretty lucky and had a great career, but maybe the Dr's have found something that could escalate so he's taken the step to retire.
What's happening with Eriksen btw, i did read that Italian football have rules that you cannot play with a pacemaker, is he back in training and waiting for a move away from Italy in the transfer window.
Danny Blind plays with a pacemaker and he's had no issues besides that one incident when his pacemaker acted when it shouldn't have and he passed out briefly.
