on a separate note, if a player went down and it wasn't a head injury and the ref hasn't stopped the play would you still kick the ball out?

personally, i think the team should just carry on, the rules state you can so i don't get it why players still kick the ball out. To me that's a soft touch.

It's being a good sportsman.

When Di Canio caught the ball, it wasn't a head injury, was he being a soft touch?

thats all fine and noble but being a good sportsman doesn't necessarily win you games or trophies

against spurs on sunday our own fans were booing Allan for kicking a ball out in our own half cos an opposition player had gone down holding their ankle

Straight out of a possible world cup final and into a boxing day league game. I'm sure the players will be delighted lol

That mid season winter break won’t be the last either.
Some young Premier League PR blert talking in Jan 23 about “successful interlude setting a precedent “ blah blah do one.

Who will likely be missing for us?

Pickford
Mina
Godfrey - unlikely on current form
Richarlison
Digne - maybe
DCL
He who cannot be named (presumably his fate is sealed by then)
Rondon (does he still play / will C Rica qualify?)

Notwithstanding any imcoming players I think thats it.

EDIT: I dont mean missing but late back/knackered

Not too many in all likelihood

Pickford, Digne and Richarlison the only ones I would say are very likely to be there.
