The joys of living in Brazil. After Everton stayed up, the screen on the elevator in my building showed the Richarlison leaping into the stands bit a couple times the following day, noting Everton staying in the Prem. I am sure I'll see Vini's goal every 3rd floor each time I leave or return home. And on the 19th floor, that will be a LOT of viewings.

Seemed to me that Real played the perfect final, the only luck that was a factor was that outrageous VAR ruling in the first half.

Ancelotti played them like a fiddle. I had a feeling he would. Set up deep and compact and look to break. Frustrate and keep at arms length. Sure they had a lot of shots, but very little clear cut..

It's exactly how he played them in the 2-0 at Anfield. It helps when you've got top tier quality of course, but a lot of similarities.

I remember being a bit annoyed with city blowing the semi because I thought they were better equipped to deal with Liverpool. I shouldn't have worried, don't think pep could have dealt with them as well as Carlo set out his team.
