I think city dragging themselves back into that West Ham game was huge

It’s annoying Mahrez missed that penalty as they’d basically be champions already, but it’s still well within their hands

Don't think it would have made much difference if they lost as they were a fair way ahead with goal difference anyway. If anything Liverpool would have done a Palace away tonight and caught themselves out chasing goal difference given the changes they had to make.

It's been that way in England for about the last 20 years though? lol

Last 5 it's been RS and City.
Before that City and Chelsea.
Before that United, etc etc

I agree the title race has always been a 2 horse race in the PL from the days of Newcastle vs Utd to Utd vs Arsenal, Utd vs Chelsea, Chelsea vs City now City vs RS.

The sad thing is that whilst the Old Firm are dominant in Scotland atleast clubs outside of those two can win a trophy - Hibs, Hearts, Dundee Utd, St Johnstone, Aberdeen etc have all won the Scottish Cup / Scottish League cup in the last 10 or so years.

How many clubs outside of the "scab 6" have won a FA Cup or League Cup in that time?

Leicester and Wigan and Wigan got lucky playing Everton and Millwall in the quarter and semi's.

The rest of us just can't compete for anything anymore.

Scotland has largely always been more boring than England but its becoming the opposite in terms of competitiveness.

im hoping city just wrap it up early on with 3 goals inside the first 30 minutes
Hope your right but I can see Villa playing with no pressure and City's defence lately has been generous to say the least, Madrid (3), RS in the cup semi (3) and west ham (2).

What I mean essentially - people just pretend that it's an OpEn LeAgUe every year for some reason.

It used to be a 1 horse race at times as well - you'd know that United are winning it or at least being one of the top 2 teams every year for ages. Then City.

Amazing isn't it ? We play a Brentford side that has nothing to play for as Premier League football is secured for next season, & they play us like it's a world cup final. They play a Southampton side that's in a similar position & the Saints perform like a gang of drunks playing on the local park.
