Delighted for the lad, he'll be a hero to a lot of young lads with the bravery of this, wish I had someone like him to look up to when I was growing up. Hope that the football world can get behind him and maybe lead to more high profile cases of lads feeling comfortable to come out. Obviously with the Gana news coming out lately that was a real shame, seemed like a good lad but he has utterly backwards views that have no place in modern society, this fellow professional coming out shows that, unreal maturity shown by him and lack of maturity from Gueye despite one being 17 and the other a millionaire in his 30s.Good on him

My sentiments exactly.
I'm proud of the lad because to football's shame there still a stigma to homosexuality in the male game otherwise we'd have waited this long since Fashanu.
But in the end, does it really matter? I'm not arsed about his religion, colour sexuality or anything like that nor should anyone else. If people are, they're bigots.
